What we design and build.

Seven parts of a yard, planned together. Larger jobs start with a concept design, simpler ones go straight to an itemised quote with GST shown, and every build is managed by us from start to finish.

Landscape Design

A plan for the whole yard before anything is built. We look at how you want to use the space, then work out the layout, levels, materials and planting so every part fits together.

  • Site visit and measure
  • Concept plan for the whole yard
  • Planting plan and material selections
  • Itemised quote for the build, GST shown

Gardens & Planting

Garden beds, planting and turf, with the soil prepared before anything goes in. Plants are chosen for the spot they're going into and how much looking after you want to do.

  • Bed preparation, soil and mulch
  • Planting to the planting plan
  • Turf
  • A watering guide for the first 6–12 weeks

Paving

Paths, patios and entertaining areas. Bases, edges and falls are set out before work starts, so water runs away from the house and the surface stays even.

  • Paths and patios
  • Entertaining areas
  • Base preparation and edging
  • Falls planned with the drainage

Decking

Decks sized and placed for how you'll actually use them, with steps, edges and the way they meet the garden planned in from the start.

  • Deck layout set before work starts
  • Steps and edges
  • Connection to paths and lawn

Fencing & Gates

Fences and gates that line up with your levels, walls and the rest of the yard. Where a fence and a retaining wall meet, we plan them together and check before we quote whether an engineer or approval is needed.

  • Colorbond and aluminium fencing
  • Pedestrian and side gates
  • Fences planned around retaining walls
  • Removal of old fencing (not fibro or asbestos)

Retaining Walls

Walls that turn a slope into usable ground. Drainage behind the wall is part of every job, because water behind a wall is what causes problems later.

  • Concrete sleeper, timber and block walls
  • Ag drain in gravel behind the wall
  • Height, setbacks and loads checked before we quote

Drainage

Ag drains and surface drainage that move water away from walls, paths and the house. We look at where water comes from and where it can go before we design anything on top.

  • Ag drains
  • Surface drainage and falls
  • Drainage behind retaining walls
Not sure if it's something we do? We don't take on driveways or other concrete for vehicles, pools or pool fencing, lighting, outdoor kitchens, tree removal, electrical work (including gate motors), asbestos removal, plumbing (including stormwater connections), or retaining walls that need building approval (such as walls over 1 m high). If your project needs any of these, we'll tell you early. For that work, you'd engage a specialist directly.

Tell us about your yard.

An initial consultation is the easiest way to start. We'll tell you on the call if it's clearly outside what we do, and check things like wall heights and whether approval is needed at the site visit.
